The exhibition is usually open from 10 to 6:30 pm. Exceptions will be announced in the tour schedule.
There are free highlight tours of the exhibition daily at 5 pm, and on weekends, holidays, and during vacation time at 11 am as well. Unfortunately, if there is too much visitor traffic, we may not be able to conduct the tours. The tours last about 45 minutes, and no registration is required. Tours are usually conducted in German
The entrance is free! Likewise, all events on board can be visited free of charge.

The exhibition is designed to be suitable for children aged 12 and over, teenagers and adults.
We offer a free audio guide through the exhibition in German and English. The audio guide can be borrowed from the information counter against a deposit.
The exhibition on board the MS Wissenschaft is wheelchair accessible.
A stairlift with a maximum load of 225 kg and a platform size of 80 x 90 cm is available. A lightweight wheelchair can be provided in the exhibition (seat width 43 cm). There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
Accessibility at the landing stage may be restricted due to structural conditions or low water level. Please contact the on-board staff in advance by telephone (0172 1765936) to clarify the conditions on-site.
The on-board bistro offers pretzels, cakes, ice cream as well as soft drinks and hot beverages.
The exhibition is air-conditioned and remains pleasantly cool even at high outside temperatures.
It is not permitted to bring animals (except assistance/rehabilitation dogs) into the exhibition rooms. Please pack bulky items as well as large pieces of luggage/rucksacks in the designated cloakroom compartments. Near the exhibits, it is not permitted to handle objects that cause damage to the exhibition. It is not permitted to eat, drink or smoke in the exhibition area; eating and drinking is possible in the bistro area under Corona rules.
Visitors are liable for any damage caused by their behaviour.
Children are very welcome. However, children under 14 years of age may only visit the exhibition if accompanied by an adult (i.e. a parent or guardian). Legal guardians and representatives are responsible for the appropriate behaviour of the children and young people entrusted to them.
